This quality Commode dates from about 1850 and has a wonderful flame walnut grain veneer. There are five drawers including a secret bottom drawer and all the drawers have original oak liners, locks, and key. The chest sits on nicely slender curved bracket feet and has heavy gadrooned edge dappled grey black marble top
