Sourced from an old farmhouse outside Joigny, this is a magnificent example of a provincial French Table with a good heavy top, wonderful patina, and wear, standing on turned legs with a H stretcher base. Two sliding flaps on the frieze open to reveal a storage compartment beneath the countertop. A wonderful Table that would complement any style of contemporary or antique style kitchen. It is becoming increasingly difficult to source this type of table in France with stiff competition from the UK interior decorators so delighted to be able to bring this Table back home.
