Early 19th century mahogany Ships Cabinet.

This rare find dates from around 1830 and consists of a two-door cabinet raised on a stand which opens to reveal 18 tapering drawers with lovely brass drop handles. The mortised doors have applied brass joint supports which add to the nautical look.  The cabinet top has ebony string inlay, and the cabinet is in untouched original condition with the benefit of a good wax polish.
