This is a rare and wonderful example of an early 19th Century Console / Side / Hall Table with a magnificent flame walnut grain resting on shapely curved scroll form sculptural cabriole legs terminating in an extended carved lion’s hairy paw foot. A single long frieze drawer with a curved front, forms the front and there is a base mirror that rests on a shaped platform base. An ideal piece for an entryway, either classic or contemporary.
