A beautifully designed and crafted 1960’s mid-century teak Sideboard by British company, Austinsuite. Austinsuite of London began as a small business in Shoreditch, before expanding to a large Leyton-based factory. This good quality sideboard is trademark of the teak mid-century style synonymous with the mid 1960’s. The Sideboard has three nice sized drawers and a pair of tambour sliding doors which open to a shelved cupboard. It is clearly stamped inside one of the drawers with ‘F. Austin (Leyton) Ltd. London’ – referring to Frank Austin, founder of the family-run business in 1928. It is in good original condition and has a lovely vintage patina.

Austinsuite of London began as a small business in Shoreditch, before expanding to a large Leyton-based factory. This good quality sideboard is trademark of the teak mid-century style synonymous with the mid 1960’s.
