This piece has four stacking sections with a deeper bottom section for storage of larger books and items. Each section retains the original glass.

1930’s Oak four tier Stacking Bookcase by Minty of Oxford.

This is a lovely example of a Minty Bookcase in an Oak finish, dating from the 1930’s. The top section has a Minty of Oxford label, to prove its authenticity. Minty products were made at its small factory in St Clement's and exported all over the world.

This design of Bookcase was generally used in legal offices, accountants etc. Minty was one of the finest makers of these types of bookcases. This piece has four stacking sections with a deeper bottom section for storage of larger books and items. Each section retains the original glass.
